Frank Erwin center in Austin, TX.

Velocity
No dark matches… although I guess all Velocity matches are dark matches,
unless you have broadband or live in a foreign country.

Vito (w/Guido. ECW, baby) def. some local jobber (apologies to the man in
question, but I didn’t get your name) – solid, but nothing special, and at
least they let the jobber get some offence in.

M’n’M def... Garrett Steel and Jakus Whisky – again, good enough, with the
WWE’s newest version of Edge and Christian getting to plant Steel with the
Snapshot.

Mr Kennedy def. some jobber – got the pin after the traditional rolling top
rope Samoan drop. Obviously, the real reason to get him out was to run
through his interminable entrance (you’re laughing now, but come back in six
months when this is as old as Sexual Chocolate). Force-feeding Chimmel a
donut and calling him fat seemed to be the sole point of the exercise.

Speaking of force-feeding, here comes a two-minute Simon Dean promo.
Actually, here comes five minutes of setting up Dean’s Simon Plan shilling
table, then two minutes of Dean rubbing oil onto a blonde woman’s chest and
calling out Bobby Lashley at No Mercy. That could be a short match.

Main Event – 6 man Cruiserweight battle royale for a title shot at No Mercy.
Juventud Guerrera defeated Scotty, Funaki, Super Crazy, Psichosis, Brian
Kendrick and Paul London in an over-the-top-rope challenge.
Here’s how each man fell:
Psychosis – clotheslined out Spanky.
Funaki – A botched hurricanrana on Super Crazy gets him on the floor for his
troubles.
Scotty 2 Hotty – Clothesline by Super Crazy, who seems to be on a roll.
Super Crazy – spoke too soon, dropkick by London.
Spanky – pushed out by London
London – Kicked out by Juvi.
So looks like it’s Juventud versus Nunzio at No Mercy. Let’s see if that
actually makes it onto the card, shall we?
