After being written out of storylines at the end of last year and subsequently being off TV all of 2025, AEW star Darby Allin is ready to make his return.
Allin has been inactive since late December as he was focusing on training to climb and conquer Mount Everest. The entire journey was expected to keep him away from wrestling for several months but internally, AEW was hopeful that he would be back by the Owen Hart tournament. However, that goal quickly became an unrealistic one and Allin with half the year in the books, Allin is still not back.
Fightfulselect.com reports that sources within AEW feel that Darby will be returning to TV "imminently" and that they would be surprised if he is not involved in some capacity in AEW All In later this month. It is believed that Allin is healthy and escaped his Everest conquest in relatively good shape and does not any further ramp up to get back into the ring. Despite the imminent nature of his return, there is no word on what sort of creative plans AEW has in store for him.
