Top indie star Alex Windsor recently announced that she has signed with AEW, marking her entry into All Elite Wrestling.
According to Fightful.com, Windsor challenged Syuri for the IWGP Women’s Championship at a Pro Wrestling EVE show on Friday. Syuri won the match, and after the bout, Windsor took the microphone to reveal that her time on the independent circuit is coming to an end with her signing to AEW. With 16 years of experience in the pro wrestling industry, Windsor has competed in the U.K. independent scene and in Japan for TJPW. She has also had appearances with NJPW and most recently wrestled for AEW/ROH in February.
Over the past couple of years, Windsor has participated in several matches for AEW and ROH, including a recent ROH Women’s World Championship match at AEW/ROH Global Wars Australia in February.
