Backstage Details On Injury That Has Sidelined AEW's Adam Cole

The Adam Cole situation where he pulled out of his scheduled match at All In and was subsequently stripped of the TNT title is not a work but rather a legitimate health situation. While there has been no official announcement from AEW on the specifics of the injury, news has emerged on what it is that Cole is dealing with.

A report today from fightfulselect.com reports that Cole will be out of action for the "foreseeable future" due to concussion issues while Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline.com confirmed the report and added that the injury took place during Cole's AEW Collision match.

As of Friday, there was hope that Cole would still be able to work the All In match yesterday but on Saturday morning, Cole still wasn't feeling well and AEW President Tony Khan made the decision to pull him from the match. While there is no timetable for his return, Cole hinted at retirement and previously was out of action for the better part of a year from June 2022 to March 2023 due to a concussion.
