ESPN Gives WWE Wrestlepalooza Mediocre Grade; AEW's Ricochet Responds

WWE launched a new partnership over the weekend by airing Wrestlepalooza on the ESPN, marking the start of PLEs shifting over to that platform from Peacock for the American audience.

In an interview last week, ESPN executives promised that their coverage of WWE would be unbiased despite the new relationship and for now, it appears they are true to their word. ESPN reporter Andreas Hale reviewed the show, giving it an overall grade of C with the following comments:

"The excellent Vaquer vs. Sky match saved this show from being truly average. It was a phenomenal display inside the squared circle. Everything else was either underwhelming (the short Rhodes-McIntyre match) or a setup for a future match (Lesnar dominating Cena). For a card that promised to have epic moments, it fell a little short of expectations."

AEW star Ricochet took notice of the "C" grade and had the following to say. AEW ran All Out on Saturday as well, though it aired several hours earlier.
