Former AEW Champion Britt Baker Denies Retirement Rumors; Says She No Longer Practices Dentistry Full-Time

Former AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker DMD hasn't appeared in a wrestling ring in well over a year but hasn't closed the book on her wrestling career.

In a quick one-minute interview at a Sports Illustrated event, Baker was asked about whether she has retired as well as her career as a dentist. When asked how she's feeling Baker responded that she feels "great" and whether if she feels good enough to get back into wrestling, she responded "yeah maybe."

The interviewer asked her what she wants to tell the fans who want to know whether she will return to AEW or somewhere else: "I just love that the fans are still taking to me. So keep the chatter up, because I love it. So stay tuned" and when she is questioned about whether she is retired, she replied "I would not say I'm retired, no."

As for her dentistry career, Baker revealed that she doesn't do it full-time anymore for her own safety due to passionate wrestling fans who got carried away with some scary ones who wanted to come kill her because she was a "bad guy."
