More Matches Announced For WWE-AAA Worlds Collide; WWE May Have Spoiled Future AAA Match

WWE has announced two new matches for the upcoming WWE-AAA Worlds Collide in Inglewood, CA on June 7.

Newly crowned WWE NXT North American Champion Ethan Page will defend his title against The Laredo Kid, Je'Von Evans and Ray Fenix in a four-way. The winner of this match will go on to defend against Sean Legacy in a future match. A women's tag team match pitting NXT's Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice against AAA’s Chik Tormenta & Dalys was also announced for the Worlds Collide event during Tuesday’s NXT episode.

WWE previously announced on Monday's Raw that Chad Gable vs. El Hijo Del Vikingo will also be on the card, but they appear to have spoiled the outcome of future AAA match. The Gable-Vikingo match was advertised for AAA's title - The Mega Championship - but that belt is currently held by Alberto El Patron, who will defend it against El Hijo this weekend. It would surmise that El Patron will be dropping the championship this weekend in order for that stipulation to materialize. Below is the updated card for WWE NXT-AAA Worlds Collide:

  • AAA Mega Championship Title Match: Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable
  • Legado Del Fantasma vs. Psycho Clown & El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Pagano
  • Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice vs. Chik Tormenta & Dalys.
  • WWE NXT North American Fatal Four-Way Title Match: Ethan Page vs. Laredo Kid vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Rey Fenix
  • Also advertised but not announced for any matches (yet) are Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Mr. Iguana
