More On TNA Blocking Talent From Shows With AEW Talent; President Carlos Silva Issues Statement

Earlier today, it was reported that there is a growing sense within the industry that TNA Wrestling is about to implement a rule that will prevent its talent from competing in the same ring as AEW wrestlers.

Fightful Select and PWInsider Elite both came out with stories indicating that TNA Champion Moose had already been pulled from Maple Leaf Wrestling Multiverse on April 18 and that future matches with Leon Slater set to face Ricochet on April 16 and Nic Nemeth against MJF on May 1 were in jeopardy of being pulled.

Dave Meltzer of f4wonline.com further reported that it is true that TNA is blocking its talent from wrestling against AEW talent on independent shows but that the MJF/Nemeth match is still expected to happen despite the attempt to stop it.

TNA has not released an official statement on the matter but President Carlos Silva did offer something on the topic simply stating that some "TNA wrestlers were pulled due to partner conflicts" without providing any context into who/what the partners/conflicts are. One theory that was floated around is that Silva wasn't happy at AEW Collision running against TNA Impact last Thursday.
