News On WWE Reducing Ticket Prices For Some Live Events Later This Year

WWE's rising ticket prices have been a topic of criticism over the last several months with wrestlers even joining fans in complaining about how difficult it is to obtain seats to watch the promotion live and CM Punk even referencing it live on Monday's episode of Raw.

The high ticket prices have affected WWE's biggest show of the year - WrestleMania 42 - with sales lagging well behind what they were last year despite the show being in the same city and at the same venue. WWE responded by lowering prices and offering sales and reports also emerged this week that WWE was looking to reduce ticket prices at other events throughout 2026.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez had an update noting that while WWE is legitimately looking to reduce price through the summer, but it won't be a blanket reduction but rather something that will be assessed on a case-by-case basis for each show.

Alvarez further elaborated that in a "hot market" where WWE can easily move seats at high prices, they obviously won't look to cut prices but in smaller markets where tickets aren't selling as fast as they would like or where the company doesn't expect to sell out, WWE is going to lower prices through the summer.
