-- NXT star Damon Kemp announced via X that he is no longer with WWE effective today. Kemp, whose real name is Bobby Steveson, is the brother of Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson who was also released from WWE earlier this year.
-- Fightfulselect.com later reported that Kemp wasn't cut but rather WWE chose not to renew his contract when it expired this week. The 25-year old had been with WWE for four years and unlike his brother, he made a much more favorable impression with WWE officials.
