According to TMZ, rap music star Offset was shot on Monday near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. He was taken to a hospital immediately after the incident. A spokesperson for the rapper stated that he is "fine" and "currently at the hospital receiving medical care." The spokesperson also indicated that Offset is stable and being closely monitored.
A spokesperson for the Seminole County Police told the outlet:
“We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
Offset is a member of the rap group Migos, which includes Quavo and Takeoff. A passionate wrestling fan, his 2017 song "Ric Flair Drip" reached #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was featured in the WWE 2K19 soundtrack. Offset also made an appearance on the February 23rd episode of WWE RAW alongside Je'Von Evans. Additionally, his track "Bodies," featuring JID, Drowning Pool, and BNYX, served as the theme song for Elimination Chamber 2026.
