Two WWE superstars ended up missing episodes of WWE TV last week but both absences are considered short-term and they are expected back on programming soon.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that a "minor injury" kept veteran Rey Mysterio off last week's Raw but that he is expected back fairly quickly.
Rey Mysterio and Charlotte Flair both missed episodes of WWE programming over the past week but are expected to be back on TV soon. Meanwhile, Flair missed Smackdown due to an illness and she has already returned to action at a house show on January 15. WWE noted on Smackdown that Flair was sick and the Observer notes that that reason was legitimate.
Chad Gable and Tiffany Stratton also remain sidelined but both are also nearing returns. Gable has been out for months rehabbing a shoulder injury while Stratton has been absent due to an undisclosed injury.
