A portion of last night's episode of AEW Dynamite in Sacramento underwent changes due to combination of illnesses and injuries from the company's recent tour in Australia and perhaps even prior to that.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that parts of AEW Dynamite had to be rewritten mainly from illnesses that affected wrestlers who went on the Australia tour but also many who didn't travel also fell sick. The belief is that the bug began the week before on Dynamite and spread through the locker room.
Meltzer added that two matches that weren't affected by rewrites were: Swerve Strickland vs. Kenny Omega and the four-way match for the TBS title, however, yesterday's Dynamite ended up being a skeleton crew of personnel.
