WWE Injury Updates On Tiffany Stratton, Jey Uso & Piper Niven

The following are injury updates on Tiffany Stratton, Jey Uso and Piper Niven:

Jey Uso

Uso was busted open after taking a chair to the face at WWE Wrestlepalooza. Uso tweeted that he was okay, but was placed in concussion protocol as the fear was that he suffered one. According to Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline.com, WWE claimed that he was "fine" which would presumably mean that he passed the concussion testing and is cleared to wrestle.

Tiffany Stratton

Stratton was injured last week on WWE SmackDown in a match against Jade Cargill, hitting her head on the ringside floor after a moonsault attempt. After not being medically cleared for NXT or Smackdown (where it was to be announced that she would wrestle in a three-way against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax at Wrestlepalooza) the week after, WWE then claimed that she was never injured to begin with and that the entire change was storyline or logistically driven. Alvarez refuted WWE President Nick Khan's claimed that time constraints caused the match to be pulled, instead reporting that Stratton was definitely hurt and that the three-way was supposed to be on the "ESPN show."

Piper Niven

Alvarez did not have much to add on Niven except that details on the exact nature of her injury are not known only that it could potentially be career-ending. Niven hasn't wrestled in over a month.
