Rumors of an appearance at WrestleMania 41 from US President Donald Trump have been growing over the last few days, especially after public endorsements from various WWE personalities including Paul Levesque and Roman Reigns. Fightfulselect.com reports that according to sources close to the creative team, they have not been told that a Trump appearance is happening nor have they been told to prepare for it. If Trump did make an appearance, there would be logistical work needed that would include increased additional security and other planning measures that would need to be in place.
When Kevin Owens announced that he would require surgery to fix a neck injury and thus, his match against Randy Orton was not going to happen at WrestleMania 41, there were no plans for a returning Rusev to step in his place. However, if Rusev does end up being a mystery opponent for Orton, it would be a very late creative change that would have led to that happening.
