TNA will inform its talent today that the promotion will be moving Impact to Thursday nights a 9 pm EST beginning April 13th. Multichannel News has already confirmed the new timeslot with a comment from Spike TV’s Kevin Kay who said that they expect the move to bring the series from a 0.8 rating to a 1.0 on a regular basis.
An official Spike TV press release is expected to follow, however, may not come until Tuesday when they have the scheduled media teleconference with X Division Champion Samoa Joe.
There’s still no word on what Spike plans to do with the 10 pm hour as the new season of The Ultimate Fighter reality series will continue airing at 11 pm.
