WWE To Run 2 Monthly PPVs Starting In Sept., Plans For Second World Title?

It looks like when the brand split goes down later this year, WWE will begin running exclusive RAW and SmackDown pay-per-view events.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, starting in September, WWE will be running two separate monthly pay-per-views for RAW and SmackDown, with wrestlers from both shows only appearing on WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series pay-per-views.

With the split-rosters and separate pay-per-view plans, Meltzer noted that it's almost a guarantee that WWE will create a second World Championship, so that each brand -- and pay-per-view -- has World Title matches.
