- Eddie Edwards kicked off Sunday night's TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view by winning the X-Division Championship in the opening match. This is the first X-Title reign for Edwards, who is a five-time former tag-team champion.

- Also winning a title at Slammiversary was Sienna (Allisyn Kay), who beat Gail Kim and Jade in triple-threat action to become the new TNA Knockouts Champion.

- Finally, Bobby Lashley beat Drew Galloway in the TNA Slammiversary 2016 pay-per-view main event to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
