Arena: Coussoulis Arena in San Bernardino, CA

Hey guys, I thought I’d give you the Champs Report of the RAW Brand House Show that took place tonight. The place was packed to capacity (about 4000 people) and the place was rocking from start to finish.

Match #1

Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch vs Goldust and Snitsky

Goldust and Snitsky were WAY over with the crowd tonight. Cade and Murdoch spent most of the match tagging in and out while beating up Goldust. Goldy eventually makes a hot tag to Snitsky and this changed the whole complexion of the match. Murdoch and Snitsky were the legal men as Cade tried to interfere. Goldust was able to foil Cade’s attempt and Snitsky nailed Murdoch with a Big Boot. 1-2-3.

Winners: Goldust and Snitsky

Good opener to get the crowd warmed up.

Rob Conway comes out and poses for a while until he is joined by “Our Teacher” Matt Striker. Striker (in regular clothes) tells Conway “You are the Model of Excellence! You have the potential to be one of the all-time greats like Matt Striker, Your Teacher…” Before Matt can continue, he is interrupted by Charlie Haas’ music and our next match is underway.

Match #2

Charlie Haas vs Rob Conway w/Matt Striker

The crowd was really behind Charlie as he tried to get support from the audience. The match consisted of a lot of holds and take downs. Matt Striker was on the ring apron yelling at the referee, but he was knocked off by a stiff shot by Haas. Conway tried to set up Charlie for the Ego Trip, but Charlie countered it into a Reverse DDT. 1-2-3

Winner: Charlie Haas

We are now joined by Armando Alejandro Estrada and he cuts the same promo that he always does. He then bad mouths Ric Flair and then Umaga comes out. After Umaga comes out, Eugene’s music hits.

Match #3

Umaga w/Armando Alejandro Estrada vs Eugene

Eugene comes out and starts giving high-fives to the crowd. Umaga jumps Eugene from behind and beats him up. Umaga rams Eugene back first into the ring post, then throws him back into the ring. Armando is shouting instructions to his boy Umaga and Eugene is in trouble. Umaga sets up Eugene in the Tree of Woe and then nails the Flying Headbutt. Umaga then does the running butt attack that rocked Eugene’s head back. Eugene is then finished off with the Thumb to the Throat maneuver and this match is over. 1-2-3

Winner: Umaga

Poor Eugene is left in the ring crying. He didn’t even get a chance to take off his jacket. Umaga grabs a Steel Chair and hits himself in the head with it. Ummmm….. ok….

Match #4

Carlito vs “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters

This was almost a replica of their match at Backlash. Masters was in control most of the way and Carlito was trying to get away. At one point Carlito attempted the Masterlock, but he was apparently too small to lock it in. Masters attempts the Masterlock, but Carlito slips out. Carlito nails the falling backcracker and that’s all she wrote. 1-2-3

Winner: Carlito

Masters was pretty upset and he bad mouthed the crowd and even spit on someone.

Justin Roberts announces that the Special Guest Ring Announcer for the next match is Candice Michelle.

Candice comes out and does her duty for this match.

Match #5

Victoria and Mickie James vs Torrie Wilson and Maria

Victoria was way over with the crowd since she is from the area. All of the usual spots were done. Maria hit the Bronco Buster on Mickie and Torrie gave Victoria a Stinkface shortly after. Candice tried to interfere, but Torrie stopped her which allowed Maria to roll up Victoria 1-2-3.

Winners: Torrie Wilson and Maria

Mickie was pretty upset with Victoria, but Victoria claims that Maria pulled her tights.

Intermission Time, I need a drink.

Match #6

“Mr. Money in the Bank” Rob Van Dam © vs Shelton Benjamin for the Intercontinental Championship

Shelton rants on the mic about how he was screwed at Backlash (Shelton was talking while the crowd was calling him a Momma’s Boy). This was a solid match with lots of innovative moves. RVD attempted the Rolling Thunder, but the challenger countered with a vicious Clothesline. Shelton looked like he was well on his way to reclaiming the IC title, until RVD nailed Shelton with a stiff kick to the head. RVD nails the 5-Star Frog Splash and this match is over. 1-2-3

Winner: And Still Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam

Justin Roberts gets on the mic and he has an announcement to make. He says “Mr. McMahon has ordered me to announce that this next match to be a 4 on 2 handicap match for the World Tag Team Championship!”

The Spirit Squad comes out and they prance around the ring and wait for their opponents. The first challenger is none other than Viscera! The Spirit Squad look like they have just seen a ghost! They almost don’t want to know who the second challenger is. It’s…..The Big Show! This is one big duo.

Match #7

Big Show and Viscera vs Spirit Squad © (Kenny, Mikey, Johnny, and Nicky w/Mitch) in a 4 on 2 Handicap Match for the World Tag Team Championship

Nobody from the Squad wanted to start this match against Big Vis. Johnny eventually got in and taunts Viscera. He even showed off his muscles like Scott Steiner does. Viscera is in control early and then Big Show comes in like a house of fire. There doesn’t seem to be anything that the Spirit Squad can do to retain the tag titles. Viscera gets tagged back in and the 4 on 1 mugging begins. Big Show comes in illegally and starts to clean house. Big Show tries to bounce himself off of the ropes, but Mitch pulls down the top rope and Show comes crashing down. The Squad is all over Viscera and they finish him off with the move where they toss him high in the air. 1-2-3

Winners: And Still World Tag Team Champions The Spirit Squad

Big Show and Viscera are disappointed, but Viscera starts dancing. Viscera fires up the crowd and convinces Big Show to start dancing along with him. Awesome stuff.

Main Event

John Cena © vs Edge w/Lita vs Triple H in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship

This match stole the show. It took less than 20 seconds for this match to spill into the crowd. Cena countered a Triple H Pedigree attempt and slammed The Game onto the concrete floor. Edge and Cena do battle in the ring as Triple H slowly tries to make his way back into the ring. Edge runs away and Triple H jumps Cena. Edge tries to convince HHH and Cena to go after one another. Trips and Cena look at one another and then go after Edge. HHH and Cena take turns bouncing Edge’s head off of the turnbuckles. Cena throws Edge out of the ring, but as he turns around, Triple H sets the Champ up for the Pedigree! Cena falls to his knees and trips up Triple H. Cena locks in the STF-U! The Champ Connects with the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena is calling for the F-U, but Lita sneaks behind Cena and low blows him! She then grabs the WWE Title Belt and lays the Champ out. Lita is the only person standing. She grabs Edge and puts him on top of Cena. Chioda recovers and makes the count 1-2-Kickout by the Champ! Triple H rolls under the ring and pulls out a Sledgehammer! HHH is stalking Cena, but Edge Spears HHH out of nowhere. Lita is on the Ring Apron yelling at Cena. Edge tries to Spear Cena, but the Champ avoids it and Edge Spears Lita off of the Ring Apron by Accident! F-U to Edge! 1-2-3!
