Well i've been back for a bit now and figured i'd try this there are indeed
tonight's results from Portland ME.
We start the night off with the host of Smackdown. The Miz coming out and does his
little bit of mike work just telling us that The Undertaker wasn't going to be here
tonight there was some sign about that posted in the enterance of the Civic Center.
Miz also set up the main event which would be. World Heavyweight Champion Rey
Mysterio and the returning Batista big pop for that vs King Booker and Mark Henry.
Match 1
For the United States Championship
Bobby Lashley vs Fit Finlay
As we are waiting for Finlay to come out. Here comes William Regal who ambushes
Lashley and minutes later here comes Finlay and they work over Lashley. Finlay
dominated a good chunk of this match and Regal got his shots in too. The end comes
when Finlay tries to use a chair but instead gets speared giving Lashley the win.

After the Match Regal and Finlay attacked Lashley in the ring. Then out of nowhere
Finlay's leperachaun friend came in and took down Regal. Regal and Finlay basically
shove him back under the ring for that.
Match 2
Jillian Hall vs Kristal Marshall
Both ladies got decent reactions which made it hard at the beginning of the match to
pick sides. But Kristal ends up playing the heel as she faked helping Jillian in to
the ring and worked her over on the floor. Jillian did mount an offense and was able
to land a tremendous flip legdrop for the pin.

Sylvester Turkey vs Gunner Scott
Battle of the newcomers here. Scott got a small pop but that was about it. Good
little match here with some solid wrestling. Scott landed a beautiful belly to belly
suplex for a near fall. The finish saw Scott for a crossbody. But then Turkey pushes
referee Nick Patrick in to the ropes and then lands the musclebuster for the pin.

Match 4
Tatanka vs Mr Kennedy
Kennedy out first to a mixed reaction. Kennedy gets the mike and rips on a lady on
the crowd for having bad teeth. Kennedy than says it's good to be in Bangor but
Chimmel informs him that we are indeed in Portland for this show.
Tatanka comes out to a decent reaction apparently people still like him. A lot of
chain wrestling in this one. Not to mention a lot of chops. Tatanka ends up getting
a pretty shocking victory after the ref stops Kennedy from cheating and Tatanka is
able to complete a sunset flip.

Match 5
Vito vs Funaki
Damn this match sucked and the crowd let them know it too, Vito tries to leave and
the crowd chants make him wrestle. The crowd ripped these two apart. I also heard a
few they can't wrestle chants throughout this bout. I loved this match in a way
because i got to use quite a few velocity jokes and had the guy sitting next to me
cracking up. Vito got the win after nailing Funaki with a vicious right hand and
locking in the same submission hold he used on Smackdown to score the win.

Match 6
For the WWE Tag Team Championship
Paul London and Brian Kendrick vs Jamie Noble and Kid Kash
This was one of the matches i had been looking forward to on this show and it didn't
dissapoint. The champs start off hot with several quick paced manuvers. Noble and
Kash take over after nearly sending London to the floor with a big backdrop. During
the match a fan sitting a few chairs down from me kept challenging Kash and Noble to
fight him after the show. Hmmm i wonder if he was intoxocated at the time.Noble and
Kash send London in to the ropes and catch him with a double elbow smash. Noble and
Kash basically beat the crap out of London for about 5 minutes until London is
finally tags out to Kendrick. Kendrick comes in and lands some cool moves. Including
a spot where Noble went for the stomach buster but London saves Kendrick by using
the dropsault but unfourtunately no pinfall oppurtunity. Kendrick wins the match for
his team by reversing a Noble powerslam with a small package and scoring the shcok
pin.

Match 7
The Great Khali vs Matt Hardy
You've got to be kidding me. Hardy is Taker's substitution for this match. As Khali
comes out a lot of younger fans were in awe of the size of the monster. Well i guess
it's time for a squash match. Hardy tried his best to get an offensive in but falls
to a shot to the head and a chokeslam.

Match 8
For the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Gregory Helms vs Super Crazy
As Helms came out a small Hurricane chant broke out i guess just as a way to give
him heat. Helms looked a little sinister tonight. Helms tries to go for a single leg
but can't quite get it right. Helms tries to dump Crazy to the floor but Crazy holds
on and dumps him to the floor. Helms pretty much grounds Crazy for most of the
match. Crazy nails a couple of nice tilt a whirl backbreakers on Helms followed by a
spinning kick for a near fall. In the end Crazy goes for a suplex that is turned in
to ngihtmare on Helms street and Hurri errr Gregory Helms retains the gold.

Tony Chimmel thanks us all for coming out and it's now time for the main event.
Main Event
Batista and Rey Mysterio vs King Booker T and Mark Henry
Sharmell comes out and snatches the mike and requests that we all stand up an
applaud King Booker. This is only made worse when Chimmel keeps repeating Hail King
Booker. Booker gets the mike and says he's to good for Portland so he's leaving.
Booker starts to leave and Batista's music hits and the place frickin explodes.
Batista goes to town on Booker T and nails a spinebuster. Then comes Mark Henry who
attacks him until Rey Mysterio comes out. Rey goes for the 619 but is tripped up by
Booker T and rammed in to the apron. Booker and Henry destroy Rey throughout this
match until Batista finally gets the hot tag and clears the ring. Rey lands the 619
on Henry followe by a Batista Spinebuster and a frog splash from Rey to cap off the
match.
Winners Batista and Rey Mysterio
After the Match Batista and Rey celebrate for a bit until Batista leaves. Rey than
grabs a sign from the crowd that says Latino Heat obviously making reference too the
light Eddie Guerruero and parades it around the ring to end the show.
All and All a great night of action for Smackdown. This is the first time in ages
that WWE fans in Maine can say that we were the first to see something major happen
and that was the return of Batista.

i just got back from the portland maine house show it was not that good but ill give
you the results
first the mizz came out and announced the undertaker would not be there so people
went on and booed
he then announced that batista will be in action and team up against rey mesterio
to face off against mark henry and booker
matt hardy vs the great khali this match was short as khali did the chokeslam to
matt the match was over the match only was about 2 minutes winner: great khali
super crazy vs gregory helms for the cruiserweight title the match went back and
forth crazy did some spring board moves. when crazy tried doing a roll up pin
gregory got behind crazy and hit his neckbreaker speacial for the win
winner: gregory helms
tantaka vs ken kenidy ken kenidy came out as usuall and did his mike work he
made fun of a lady in the front row saying that she invented the tooth brush and
if she did not it would then be called a teeth brush that was funny no specials
were used in this match tantaka had the match the whole time when kenidy tried
uing the ropes or levrage to pin the ref kicked his hands off the ropes and gave
the win to tantaka winner: tantaka
gunner scott vs some new guy named sevester he is around 6`6 and is pretty good
but he is a heel. selvehad the match for a while untill gunner hit a german suplex
when gunner went to go on the turn buckle selvester went over and did a punch to
the face setting up a pump muscle buster off the turnbuckle for the win winner:

batista and rey vs mark henry and booker booker xcame out in his dumb king costume
and the announcer repeated a 100 times that all hail king booker chant it got
ignoing batista and rey took booker and henry out batista hit the spinebuster on
henry and rey hit the 619 on booker for the win winner: batista and rey
paul london and brian kendrick vs jaime knoble and kid kash for the tag titles
this match was long and boring untill london tagged brian and he did some cool
spring board moves the match ended when kendrick hit a combo enziguri on kid kash
for the win winner: london and kendrick
jillian vs kristal this match was short kristal is a heel now and had a fit when
she could not get her way she played very ruff kicking jillian this match came to
an end when jillianrolled kristal up for the win winner: jillian
vito vs funaki vito came out with a white dress and beat the crap out of funaki
the match ended when funaki tryed for his tornado ddt off the turn buckle and
blocked it into his chicken wing submission for the win winner: vito
