WWE Employees Working Elsewhere, Undertaker/Khali, McMahon Injured?, more

Last Friday’s edition of SmackDown! did a 2.1 broadcast rating, with a 3.9 share.

For those of you that have not heard, Undertaker is not booked for a match at SummerSlam. Instead, he will face The Great Khali at tonight’s SmackDown! tapings in Washington D.C. in a bout that will air Friday on SmackDown. As we reported last week, WWE doesn’t want to give Khali a live match as his bouts usually require a significant amount of editing.

Now that JBL is only working as a ringside commentator with WWE he is also working as an investment banker. JBL is not alone as Jerry Lawler often works indy matches on the weekends and Jonathan Coachman will be calling college football games this season.

Incase you have heard otherwise, Vince McMahon was not injured at last night’s RAW show in Charlottesville, VA. Some people who watched the show saw McMahon grab his leg right before they cut the cameras off of him and thought that maybe he was injured. He was not.
