As mentioned last night on RAW and confirmed in an article on WWE.com, Trish Stratus will take a break from wrestling and WWE after next month’s Unforgiven PPV to get married and to simply “get away” from the business. For those that have asked, there is no timetable as to when or even if she will return. Trish has been with WWE since 2000.
It was announced during the Canadian airing of RAW last night that WWE Champion Edge will be a special in-game host during the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Tampa Bay Devil Rays MLB game on Friday, September 15th at 7:07 PPV. The appearance is obviously to promote forthcoming the Unforgiven PPV which is that Sunday. You can watch the game on Rogers Sportsnet Ontario and Fox Sportsnet Florida, which are only available in local markets.
WWE has announced that the press conference to promote Unforgiven in Toronto will take place on Tuesday, September 12th at 12 PM at the Galleria at the Air Canada Centre. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, John Cena, Carlito, WWE Champion Edge, Lita, and Trish Stratus are all scheduled to appear.
