-- When Nia Jax challenged Ronda Rousey to a match at Money in the Bank, the main reason WWE had Rousey initially respond by saying that she didn't want it is to try and control any public resentment from fans who might have thought that she didn't deserve it ahead of regular women wrestlers.
-- Charlotte Flair was then scripted to "tell" Rousey to accept the match, which she then did - again, to make it seem like it was something Rousey didn't feel she yet deserved.
-- As noted before, one of the rumors going around is that Jax is about to turn heel again, aligning with Stephanie who is seeking revenge against Rousey. The speculation is that Rousey will be close to winning the title, only to get screwed by McMahon leading to Stephanie and Jax uniting and furthering the long-term Steph-Ronda storyline.
