WWE House Show Results (3/10/07) - Lowell, Massachusetts

Hey Rahjah,

I attended the Smackdown/ECW House Show last night in Lowell,
Massachusetts. It was fantastic. There were actually two shows. A 3PM
show and a 7PM show. Both were completely sold out and I attended the
7PM show. Here are the results.

The event kicked off with Tony Chimel and referee Jimmy Cordeas coming
out to the Smackdown theme. Tony Chimel announces Teddy Long into the
arena and the crowd goes insane. Teddy Long announces the matches for
the evening then exits the ring and gives high fives and handshakes to
many fans including myself. Very nice guy.

1) Two Local guys under a Hillbilly gimmick VS William Regal and
Dave Taylor.
The crowd was pretty into this match. All the little kids were cheering
for the Hillbillys and laughed at Regal and Taylor whenever they got
knocked down.

Winners: Hillbillys

2) Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel VS Balls Mahoney
Kevin Thorn finished him off with the Dark Kiss from one of the corner
turnbuckles.
Winner: Kevin Thorn

3) Triple Threat Elimination Match
Cruiserweight Title
Chavo Guerrero VS Scotty 2 Hotty VS Gregory Helms
Before the match even started the entire crowd was going back and forth
between "Eddie Eddie" and "Chavo Sucks" chants. After that the match
started and it only took a few minutes before Scotty 2 Hotty eliminated
Gregory Helms. I was pretty surprised that Scotty got an elimination.
The match continued back and forth between Scotty and Chavo. Scotty did
hit the worm but Chavo rolled out of the ring so he couldn't pin him.
When Scotty through him back in the ring Chavo rolled him up and used
the ropes for leverage for the victory. He didn't even hit the frog
splash or anything.
Winner: Chavo

4) Matt Striker VS Sandman
This match wasn't very long but the crowd was into it. Primarily because
Sandman was getting an excellent reaction. When Sandman entered through
the crowd he went around the entire arena and cracked around 4 beers.
The crowd was going insane. No real special ending to the match though.
Winner- Sandman

5) Michelle McCool VS Krystal
Special Guest Referee: Funaki
The crowd wasn't into this match at all. No pops what so ever. Krystal
was actually the face in the match while Michelle took on the role as
the heel.
Winner: Michelle McCool

INTERMISSION

6) The Great Khali VS Kane
NO DQ match
This wasn't even a match. It was pretty exciting to see Kahli though. I
got a chance to touch him when he entered. If you think the guy is big
on TV, wait until you see him in person. His fists are like rocket
launchers! Anyhow, They both got in the ring and had about a 60 second
confrontation of just hitting each other punch for punch then all the
ECW and Smackdown guys came out to break it up for some reason. At the
end Kane chokeslammed Gregory Helms and Kevin Thorn. They were lying in
the ring motionless and were the last ones to leave before the next
match took place.

7) ECW Tag Team Match
Tommy Dreamer & Sabu VS Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von
This was a good match although it took a long time for it to start.
Burke and Cor Von got on the mic and started talking trash to the crowd
and to Dreamer and Sabu and told them they were going to leave. The
Dreamer got on the mic and got the whole crowd to chant "towel boy" to
Marcus Cor Von because he was a former player for our New England
Patriots although Dreamer told the crowd he was a towel boy. Cor Von got
the most heat of the night it was pretty funny. Anyhow, The New Breed
pulled off the victory in the end.
Winners: Elijah Burke & Marcus Cor Von

8) MAIN EVENT
Fatal Four Way
World Heavyweight Title
Batista VS Undertaker VS Finlay VS Mr. Kennedy
This was a good way to end the night. Batista and Undertaker got the
best pops by far of the night. The crowd went absolutely insane when
they came out. More so Undertaker than Batista, but Batista still got a
very good pop. Mr. Kennedy did the whole mic gimmick when he got in the
ring par the usual although it wasn't a mic that came down from the
ceiling, he just got in the ring and took the mic that Tony Chimel had.
When the match first started Finlay and Kennedy jumped Batista and Taker
from behind and they went at it like that for a bit. Towards the end the
roles reversed. Kennedy was battling Taker outside the ring and Batista
was battling Finlay inside the ring. Hornswoggle did make a short
appearance in the match and the crowd got a kick out of it. At the end
Batista hit the Batista Bomb Bomb on Finlay to end it. (note) The
Batista Bomb wasn't very impressive. Batista hardly even got Finlay up.
It seemed as if he got half way and then just dropped him. The same
thing happened at Summer slam when Batista tried giving the Bomb to King
Booker.

Winner: Batista

Most Heat
Marcus Cor Von
Elijah Burke
Chavo Guerrero
Matt Striker

Best Pops
Undertaker
Batista
Sandman
Scotty 2 Hotty
