Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide held the first week of its 2026 Rey de Reyes event this past Saturday at the Auditorio GNP Seguros in Puebla, Mexico. During this event, the company announced that its next major event will be Noche de Los Grandes, scheduled to take place in Monterrey, Mexico, on Saturday, May 30th. Tickets for this event will go on sale on Friday, March 20th.
AAA has been thriving since its acquisition by WWE last April during WrestleMania weekend, which was announced at WrestleMania 41 Night One. Since then, AAA has secured a deal with Fox in Mexico and much of Latin America, and its programming has regularly featured WWE stars.
This was evident during Week One of Rey de Reyes, as Bayley, El Grande Americanos, Santos Escobar, and Dominik Mysterio competed at the event. Notably, Mysterio defended the AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo in the main event.
