Adam Cole – Kyle O’Reilly Face-To-Face Segment And More Announced For Next Week’s Episode Of NXT

Several announcements were recently made by the WWE regarding what will take place on next week's NXT episode. First, it was announced by the WWE that Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly will have a face-to-face segment, in which NXT General Manager William Regal will be the mediator of. The segment is likely to feature an official announcement of the colossal Cole vs. O’Reilly III Match for the NXT TakeOver: 36 Event. Last night's episode of NXT neither saw Cole or O'Reilly make an appearance as commentary said that Cole was not medically cleared to compete due to the brutal beatdown at the hands of O’Reilly at the end of last week’s show.

It was also announced by the WWE that next week's episode of NXT will see NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez address what transpired during last week's episode when Dakota Kai turned her back on Raquel and laid her out. Kai cut a promo during last night's episode and said she turned on Raquel last week on NXT because the NXT Women's Champion became the star of their team and Kai was not happy with just being Gonzalez's sidekick. Kai also said she brought Gonzalez in the pro wrestling world and she will take Gonzalez out when she becomes the new NXT Women’s Champion. Kai is expected to face Gonzalez for her NXT Women's Title at NXT TakeOver: 36.

Next week's episode of NXT will also see NXT UK Superstar Ilja Dragunov make an appearance to further promote his NXT UK Title Match against NXT UK Champion WALTER at NXT TakeOver: 36. Last night on NXT, a Prime Target video was shown previewing the NXT UK Title Match. The last announcement that was made is Ember Moon vs. Sarray in Singles action. Ember Moon last competed for NXT on the July 13th episode of the show, when she lost a Singles Match to Dakota Kai, while Sarray's last appearance for NXT took place on the July 13th NXT episode as well, when she defeated Gigi Dolin in Singles action.
