-- AEW has yet to announce the location/venue of their first Collision show which takes place in less than a month. For weeks now, the rumor has been the United Center in Chicago which would have been a natural fit with CM Punk's return in his hometown, but with Punk's status once again in some limbo, there is uncertainty on where the event will be held. PWInsider.com reports that if AEW can get the situation with Punk resolved, the plan would still be Chicago, but if they can't, the venue will likely be shifted elsewhere since they don't want fans to expect a surprise Punk appearance if it's not in the cards. The report speculated that Daily's Place in Jacksonville, FL could be their alternate.
-- Speaking of Punk and AEW, ever since the disagreement prior to the Collision announcement, the two sides have spoken but there is no update on how those talks went.
-- AEW's recent "leveling up" of the former All-Atlantic Championship and subsequent rebrand into the AEW International Championship is reportedly a strategy to raise the significance of the title so it can be regularly used on Collision. PWInsider.com noted that that doesn't mean the belt would be exclusive to that show but the idea was to simply make it more prestigious.
