Earlier today, AEW wrestler Danhausen posted a series of teases where he seemed to imply that he would gaining "freedom" from his current situation which many have taken as a hint that he's leaving AEW and possibly coming over to WWE.
While still listed on the roster page for AEW, Danhausen asked for his release from the company last summer but it was reportedly denied and AEW instead tacked on time to his contract from the time he was injured. The recent tweets would seem to imply that the end of his time in AEW is on the horizon as he posted a pic of the Genie from Aladdin gaining his freedom as well as referencing the song "Freedom Slam" by the band Freedom.
Dave Meltzer touched on Danhausen's situation in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter where he stated that while Danhausen isn't the type of wrestler that Triple H and WWE would normally push as a top star, there would likely be a role for him in the promotion as a comedy character or cult figure who WWE would ultimately see value in as he would sell a lot of merchandise.
Meltzer hypothesized that WWE would at the least discuss bringing in Danhausen and in the end would probably give him a try.
