It was recently reported that WWE Star Aleister Black is currently dealing with minor injuries, which is the reason why he has been absent from WWE TV for several months now. Aleister Black last appeared on WWE TV on the October 12th episode of RAW, when he faced Kevin Owens in a No DQ Match. He was then drafted to SmackDown, but has not yet made an appearance for the blue brand.
The report also indicates that Aleister is part of the group of Stars who benefitted from Paul Heyman being the Creative Director of Monday Night RAW, but suffered as soon as Heyman left the role. Zelina Vega, Aleister's wife, was released from her WWE contract last November due to her constant disregard for WWE's edict on third party platforms. It was also mentioned that Aleister's current standing with the WWE is reportedly not due to Vega's release.
There's no word yet on how long Aleister Black will be out of in-ring action, but he previously asked to return to NXT, which was denied. Updates on Aleister Black's status will be provided as it becomes available.
