As previously reported, WWE Star Aleister Black has been dealing with minor injuries, which is why he has been out of action and absent from WWE TV for a number of months. No other details was given then but he did ask to return to NXT, which was denied.
An update was recently provided by PWInsider.com, which indicates that Aleister Black was seen at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida over the last several weeks. It seems that Aleister may be working towards an in-ring return, but there is no word yet on when he could be medically cleared for in-ring competition.
Aleister last appeared on WWE TV on the October 12th episode of RAW, when he battled Kevin Owens in a No DQ Match. He was then drafted to SmackDown, but has not yet made an appearance for the blue brand. Zelina Vega, Aleister's wife, was released from WWE this past November due to her constant disregard for WWE's edict on third party platforms. It was also mentioned that Aleister's current standing with the WWE is reportedly not due to Vega's release.
