Andrade Teases Signing A New Contract Elsewhere Following WWE Departure

Former WWE Star Andrade had requested to be released from his WWE contract this past March 8 after he was not used on WWE TV since last October. WWE then announced the departure of Andrade on March 21st, which was the night of the Fastlane PPV Event and Andrade has been a free agent since.

Andrade recently took to his Twitter and is teasing that he has signed a new contract with an unnamed promotion. Andrade said on Twitter, “New Beginnings! Un nuevo Comienzo! #TheWorldIsMine #ElMundoEsMio [fist emoji x 3].”

It should be noted that the paper Andrade teased to be signing is blank. This huge announcement comes after Andrade noted on March 26 that he was “in talks” with someone and was starting his “new goals.”

Andrade was released from WWE without a 90-day non-compete clause, which means that as soon as he was let go, he was free to sign with any other promotion he wanted to. There's no word yet on as to which promotion Andrade will sign with or has already signed with, but promotions such as AEW, AAA and NJPW are viable possibilities.
