Backstage News On AEW Full Gear 2025’s Viewership Numbers

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, detailed information about the viewership numbers for the AEW Full Gear 2025 pay-per-view is still limited, primarily due to the Thanksgiving holiday occurring the week after the event. The report indicates that, according to later information, Full Gear has become the most-viewed AEW pay-per-view on HBO Max and the most-viewed AEW pay-per-view overall since All In Texas, which took place in July prior to the availability of events on HBO Max.

The report further suggests that early indications imply that Full Gear will finish with viewership numbers slightly higher than those of All Out last September, which had between 135,000 and 140,000 buys. It was noted that these numbers are expected to exceed most predictions for the event.

Additionally, it was reported that Google searches for AEW Full Gear 2025 were up by 35.1% compared to WrestleDream 2025 and 33.3% compared to All Out. However, Google searches for Full Gear were down by 22% compared to All In Texas, which is likely expected since All In was AEW’s largest show of the year.
