The opening segment of last night's episode of SmackDown, which saw the first night of the WWE Draft, featured Brock Lesnar confronting WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, then hitting him with a couple of suplexes and completely destroying The Usos. A backstage segment would then air later in the show, where Brock Lesnar would interrupt Kayla Braxton interviewing new blue brand Superstar Jeff Hardy and telling him that he is now a free agent all thanks to his “good friend” Paul Heyman after Hardy would back away and retreat.
According to PWInsider.com, the segment between Lesnar and Hardy was pre-taped and Lesnar would leave the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland soon after his opening in-ring segment with "The Head Of The Table" WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The report also stated that it is expected among some people backstage that Lesnar will be appearing on RAW this coming Monday, but that is not 100 percent confirmed.
Paul Heyman, however, is expected to make an appearance on RAW this coming Monday night after the WWE Universal Champion "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns ordered him to make sure that The Usos are drafted to SmackDown and if that does not happen, then The Usos are supposed to leave Paul Heyman “for dead.” WWE has been teasing that Heyman may still be secretly aligned with Lesnar and is working against the best interests of the WWE Universal Champion.
"The Head Of The Table" Roman Reigns is set to defend the WWE Universal Title against Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 21st.
