Nikki Bella Says Doctors Have Put An End To Her In-Ring Career And Return

WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella and Brie Bella) made their intentions perfectly clear several months back that they wanted to return to in-ring competition and they wanted to go after the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles, which was rumored to be happening sometime in the fall of this year, but it looks like that may no longer be the case.

The Bella Twins recently made an appearance on the "Sipping The Tea" show, where Nikki Bella revealed that doctors have put an end to her dream of returning to in-ring action and they have put her on the retired bench for life and that it would take years for a return to happen if it does, but it is very unlikely.

Nikki Bella said:

“I would love one day, like when Matteo’s maybe three, and he knows it, to have my son be ringside while his mom kicks ass.” “That would be amazing to me. But because he is my everything, I have to listen to the doctors and as of now, they’ve put me on the retired bench for life.”

“So, it would take a lot of scans, x-rays, and all this different stuff for them to actually approve me to have a run and so that would be unlikely – that will be years down the road.”

Brie Bella then spoke about how they are ready to move on with their lives and just be winemakers and that she can’t imagine ever taking a bump again.

Brie Bella said:

“We’re gonna be 38 in November and I’m like, you know too, for us to be winemakers and well, I can’t imagine taking a bump right now.”

Nikki Bella didn’t reveal the exact details why doctors have ended her hopes for a potential comeback to in-ring action. Nikki Bella last competed for the WWE at their Evolution PPV, when she took on the RAW Women's Champion at the time and UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey.
