According to BodySlam.net, WWE has begun discussions about the creative aspects for WrestleMania 42, including potential opponents for Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Reports indicate that both Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch are being considered as possible challengers for Vaquer, although these discussions are still tentative since there is a significant amount of time until April.
This will be Vaquer’s first WrestleMania, having signed with WWE in July of last year. Currently, Lynch holds the title of WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, while Ripley recently made her return on RAW and is scheduled to participate in the Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series. Vaquer, on the other hand, is entering a feud with Nikki Bella after Bella turned on her during a recent episode.
WWE WrestleMania 42 is set to take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two-night event will be broadcast live on the ESPN App.
