Bálor secured his victory by delivering the Coup de Grâce through a table. Notably, this is Bálor's first win as The Demon since 2019 when he defeated Andrade to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title at WWE Super ShowDown.
WWE introduced the Street Fight stipulation during the WrestleMania 42 Night Two Kickoff Show, and sources from Fightful Select indicate that this decision was made at the last minute due to the high number of singles matches on the card. The stipulation was intended to add variety and differentiate this match from the other singles bouts.
