Backstage News On WWE’s Interest In Masha Slamovich Before Allegations Against Her Came To Light

According to Sean Ross Sapp in the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers, TNA star Masha Slamovich was previously a candidate for a possible signing with either WWE's NXT or the main roster. However, interest in her shifted due to recent domestic abuse allegations that have impacted her career.

Sapp reported that as Slamovich’s contract with TNA neared expiration, she was contemplating her future and considering a move to WWE or NXT. He noted, “There was some interest there.” However, the emergence of serious allegations led TNA to initiate an internal investigation last September.

Despite the situation, Sapp indicated that a return to TNA for Slamovich is still a possibility, mentioning that there is a “path” for her to come back. He added that the individual who made the allegations expressed a desire for her career to continue.

At this time, it is unclear how her career will unfold, as promotions including TNA, West Coast Pro Wrestling, Prestige Wrestling, Metroplex Wrestling, and Top Talent Wrestling have removed her from their upcoming shows. Updates on Slamovich’s situation will be provided as more information becomes available.
