Backstage Update On WrestleMania 42 Ticket Sales Following WWE’s Austin 3:16 Day Discount Offer

WWE recently announced a special offer for fans in celebration of Austin 3:16 Day. This promotion includes a 31.6% discount on live event tickets, valid until June 19, for upcoming shows in the U.S., including WrestleMania 42. Early indications suggest that this business strategy is effective.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has sold over 1,000 tickets for its upcoming shows and nearly 2,000 tickets per night for WrestleMania 42. As of now, ticket sales for Night One of WrestleMania 42 stand at 39,425, while Night Two has reached 40,687. Currently, ticket sales are 11.2% behind the pace of last year's event, a significant improvement from being 18% behind earlier this week.

Meltzer also noted that tickets on the secondary market are significantly cheaper than last year. The get-in prices for Saturday and Sunday are $237 and $221, respectively. Additionally, the secondary market ticket costs are down 33.8% four weeks ahead of the event compared to the same time last year.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
