Backstage Update On WWE Contract Status Of Street Profits

-- WWE stars Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of The Street Profits recently caused some waves online when they appeared to show discontent and frustration with the creative direction and standing of their team.

-- PWInsiderelite.com reports that the tag team are "locked into deals" with WWE and that the statements that they made publicly were probably to garner attention. The report adds that Ford has been working on some outside non-WWE projects lately and was among the multiple stars who signed with Paradigm over the past year to branch out into these sort of initiatives. The report concluded that there is no belief internally at all that either Ford or Dawkins are exiting WWE.

-- Earlier this month, fightfulselect.com reported that the Profits had signed contracts back in 2019 though they were unable to find out if the duo signed new contracts since then. The belief is that back in 2019 they would have agreed to either three- or five-year deals but with reports not emerging that they are not imminently set to become free agents, it would appear as if those deals were re-upped at some point.
