As previously reported, Bodyslam.net indicated that WWE NXT star Lola Vice had been considered for a potential call-up to the main roster. The report suggested that WWE had been impressed with her performances in both AAA and NXT, and was contemplating her placement on the SmackDown brand.
However, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com stated that there have not been any behind-the-scenes discussions within WWE regarding Vice's call-up to the main roster. It appears she is being positioned for AAA instead of moving up to the main roster.
Vice has participated in several matches in AAA since WWE acquired the company in April of last year. She has had a total of 10 matches in the Mexican promotion, with her most recent appearance being a victory alongside Faby Apache and Natalya against Las Toxicas at Guerra De Titanes in late December. Vice also appeared in a backstage segment on last Tuesday’s WWE NXT New Year’s Evil and is scheduled to face Kelani Jordan on next week’s show. Notably, she has a background as an MMA fighter.
