Backstage WWE News On Timing Issues At Last Night's Saturday Night's Main Event

The knee injury suffered by Seth Rollins last night at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event caused the finish of the match to change and while it doesn't appear as if any segments or angles were omitted, the injury led to major disruptions in the timing of the event according to a report by fightfulselect.com.

One of the timing issues affected Bill Goldberg's post-match speech getting cut off as the NBC feed ended up going off air while Goldberg was still talking. The cut-off was not intentional on WWE's part as it was more that WWE has a hard-out on NBC since it's on traditional network TV.

The story added that many people backstage felt bad for Goldberg that his speech was cut off and one higher-up reportedly personally apologized to him for it. Soon after the show went off air, WWE had scrambled to put a plan in motion to put the full speech online and by Sunday afternoon, it was up.
