Ricky Starks has been removed from AEW's official roster page in the company's latest update on AllEliteWrestling.com, joining Malakai Black as one of the stars no longer listed, which often signals a potential departure from the company.
Starks, who joined AEW in 2020, has seen limited use in recent months and has openly expressed uncertainty about the reasons behind it. This led to public tensions between him and the company, with many fans questioning why he wasn't being featured despite being injury-free and continuing to wrestle in matches outside AEW.
Starks has recently been active on the independent circuit, appearing for promotions like House of Glory and Defy Wrestling. Most notably, on February 8, he claimed the DEFY Championship after defeating KENTA.
