-- Over the weekend, WWE filed trademarks for 12 different and interesting ring names presumably to be considered for future superstars with the USPTO. None of the names have ever been used before a WWE performer and it's anyone's guess who they might be intended for. The list reads as follows:
- Harley Riggins
- Aria Bennett
- Braxton Cole
- Masyn Holiday
- Summer Sorrell
- Haze Jameson
- Tate Wilder
- Jax Presley
- Osiris Griffin
- Drako Knox
- Trill London
- Chantel Monroe
-- The new trademarks come on the heels of multiple wrestlers getting released last week - a list that included Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Isla Dawn, AOP, Cedric Alexander, Paul Ellering, Giovanni Vinci, and Blair Davenport. There has been unconfirmed speculation that WWE parted ways with these talents in order to make room for incoming wrestlers, likely from NXT.
