Bobby Lashley Hints At Wrestling Return: "It’s Time To Put Pen To Paper"

-- Former WWE World Champion Bobby Lashley is ready to take the next step in his wrestling journey. Having departed WWE over the summer, Lashley has been hotly rumored to be joining AEW to re-align with his former Hurt Business members, MVP and Shelton Benjamin. Speaking at the K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, Lashley commented:

“I just want to say, I appreciate you guys and thank you for staying behind me. I know the last few years have been a little bit up and down. But I got a lot more left in the tank and I can’t wait to jump back out there,” he said. “I had a little boo-boo, so I took a little time off to fix myself. And I’m feeling good right now. I’ve been working out hard. And I think the next few weeks, you should see something, something pop off. It’s time to put pen to paper and start getting back to these fans.”

-- While he noted that it's time to sign a deal with a new promotion, the strong belief is that Lashley has already signed a contract with AEW and that his debut is imminent, especially with MVP and Benjamin already in the mix and on TV.
