Charlotte Flair On Why She Destroyed Lilly After Defeating Alexa Bliss At Extreme Rules

Last night's WWE Extreme Rules PPV Event saw RAW Women's Champion Charlotte Flair successfully retain her RAW Women's Title against Alexa Bliss. Immediately after the match, Charlotte Flair grabbed Lilly and proceeded to completely destroy her and tear her apart. Flair would then take part in a backstage interview shortly after Extreme Rules came to a close and explained why she did what she did.

Charlotte Flair said:

“You see, that’s the problem. You’re encouraging Alexa by asking about Lilly. I want to know how Alexa feels after she failed to win the RAW Women’s Championship. That’s the problem. I don’t want to to talk about Lilly.”

Charlotte Flair then talked about how when she faced Bliss at Extreme Rules she saw the old Bliss and that is the Bliss the fans and herself wants to see. Charlotte then ended the interview by saying she destroyed Lilly because she wanted to send a wakeup call to Alexa Bliss.

Charlotte Flair said:

“Ripping up Lilly was a wakeup call. A wakeup call to remind her that she’s still a champion at heart.”

There's no word yet on what WWE's plans is for Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Lilly moving forward, but updates will be provided once it becomes available.
