Chase Owens Reveals He Has Signed New Contract With NJPW, Plans To Finish His Career With Promotion

Chase Owens is going to be in New Japan Pro Wrestling for life.

That is a statement straight from the horse's mouth.

The Bullet Club member noted via social media earlier this week that he was on the last date of his NJPW contract. This led to a lot of online speculation as to whether or not he would re-sign with the company or explore the free agent market.

We now have our answer.

During his latest Twitch stream "The Crown Jewel" revealed that he has inked a new deal with New Japan, and plans to remain with the promotion for the remainder of his career in the pro wrestling business.

"I’m going to be in New Japan Pro Wrestling for a long freaking time," Owens stated. "I’m not going anywhere. I’m ‘for life’."

Owens would go on to elaborate, and while he didn't reveal the specifics of the deal, he did make it clear that it is a long-term contract and he is more than pleased with the terms.

"The money I’m given is worth the sacrifice," he continued. "I’m not going to say exactly how long. My last contract was two years. [My new contract is] way longer than two years. I’m 31 now. I’m going to be damn near 40 when my contract comes up."
