Corey Graves Says He Doesn't Buy John Cena Not Appearing At WrestleMania

It was previously reported that 16-time World Champion John Cena was recently rumored to be appearing at this year's WWE WrestleMania 37, but the WWE veteran spoke to Sports Illustrated and revealed that "there is no mathematical way” that he could be at this year's WrestleMania 37 and that is due to the filming schedule for The Peacemaker series for HBO Max in Vancouver.

On a recent edition of WWE's After the Bell podcast, host Corey Graves talked about whether or not he believes the 16-time World Champion. Corey Graves feels that Cena has to be there and he thinks he’ll find a way to impact the show in some capacity.

Graves said that he doesn’t buy it, because he sees the 16-time World Champion John Cena appearing at WrestleMania in some capacity. Corey Graves also said that there's a lot of truth to what he's saying and it makes sense and he understands it, but there is also a guy as recent as the Royal Rumble Event last year who told everybody he is not coming back under any circumstance as well as Edge who won the Royal Rumble this year.

Corey Graves said, “I don’t buy it.” “Because it should be John Cena at WrestleMania in some capacity. There’s a lot of truth to what he’s saying, it makes sense, I understand it. But there’s also a guy as recent as the Royal Rumble last year told everybody he’s not coming back under any circumstance. Yeah, Edge, the guy who just won the Royal Rumble did the same thing.”

Cena also told Jimmy Fallon while he cannot attend WrestleMania, he plans to return to WWE as soon as he can, but Graves feels like Cena is just swerving fans and will ultimately show up at WrestleMania.

Corey Graves said, “It’s throwing people off the trail, I’m okay with it, I love it.” “If that’s what John Cena is doing and playing everybody like puppets, I support it. I don’t believe John Cena doesn’t have any role at WrestleMania. I believe John Cena will be there.”
