At this past Sunday night's IMPACT Slammiversary PPV Event, a video vignette of former WWE Star Aiden English (Matthew Rehwoldt) aired, which showed that he is set to make his debut at the current set of IMPACT Wrestling TV Tapings in Nashville. Fightful Select reports that Rehwoldt will indeed be making his IMPACT Wrestling debut at the upcoming tapings and that he is set to debut as a heel.
The report also indicates that Rehwoldt is in line to receive a huge push which will culminate in him possibly winning a mixed tag team tournament set to conclude at IMPACT Wrestling's Homecoming special on Saturday, July 31, where the tournament finals will take place and a King and Queen of IMPACT will be crowned.
Aiden English (Matthew Rehwoldt) worked on commentary duties in the WWE prior to his release in April 2020. Since then, he has competed on the independent scene.
