Rhea Ripley Comments On Fans Criticizing Her WWE Character

Rhea Ripley is known to be one of the most dominant wrestlers in WWE, whether it be the men's or even the women's division. Prior to being called up to the main roster, Ripley was a former NXT and NXT UK Women's Champion and she ran through almost the entire women's division in both those brands. She has been a babyface more than she has been a heel in her WWE and NXT career and she has even had one hell of a rivalry with Charlotte Flair, but several fans have criticized her character and said she hasn't been the same since her loss to Charlotte at WrestleMania 36.

Speaking with Bleacher Report, Ripley discussed fans criticizing her character on the WWE main roster as her character is reportedly not being clearly defined whether it is a heel or a babyface. She also talked about how she wants to change people's minds and have them cheer for her and back her up.

Rhea Ripley said:

“I can’t wait to possibly change their minds and make them back me up and cheer for me and believe in me because they should.”

“People just have to pick one. It’s the same with Stone Cold. Was he really going out being such a nice guy? No, he wasn’t, and people loved him for it, so I don’t see why people are getting so angry about my feud with Charlotte and getting so confused over it when I’m pretty much doing the same thing I was doing in NXT and people loved me for it. I don’t believe there should be designated faces and heels.”
