A big announcement was recently made by former WWE Superstar Darren Young (Fred Rosser) and NJPW that Fred Rosser has signed an exclusive agreement with the company. Rosser signed with WWE on May 2009 up to October 2017, where he became a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion. Rosser then wrestled on the indies prior to making his debut for NWA in March of this year. At NWA's When Our Shadows Fall Event, Rosser lost a Singles Match to JTG.
In September of 2020, Rosser started working for NJPW at their NJPW Strong show. Rosser last wrestled for NJPW on their May 21 NJPW Strong show, winning against HIKULEO in a No DQ Match. It was mentioned that Rosser's exclusive agreement with NJPW likely means that he will no longer be competing with the NWA, at least for now.

I’m excited to officially announce I’ve signed W/ NJPW! All I can say moving forward is, don’t ever let your dreams just be dreams because as long as you’re patient & believe in your dreams, anything is possible.
